I just did a simple border on this picture to accent the colors that are already in it. I didn't want to do anything too dramatic, since that might take away from the image itself.
I applied a rough border on this one using the brush tool.

You did a great job on these. My favorite one is the black border on the water shot. I tend to like simplistic things. I agree that any more could have taken away from the image itself. But the white border on the silhouette shot work well, because it's already in grayscale (right? It's close if it's not ...) so the contrast is nice. Well done!
I love your first photo here that has no name, so I will call it Canyon Plunge. the angle and lighting are great. I love your night shots as well. Only your photo of the evergreen branch with the mountain in the back ground I'm not too thrilled about. It is quite dark for the white border and I just can't see much. Other than that It does not draw my attention and the lighting it is good.
I love the angle on the first photo. And the double border really adds a professional touch. The rough border on the second photo reminds me of the pine needles. Really well done!
I love the first photo, I think you did an excellent job! I Love the angle, lighting, color, composition, its just a really nice photo. I think the black border makes it a little more elegant but I agree I would not have added any more. It looks very nice! I think the border you chose on the second one was a nice choice just because it went with the texture of the photo, its fun!
