Bannack

1. I shot this looking out of the Hotel, i though it looked like a nice angle to show the barber shop. I also made this into an HDR shot.

2. One of the buildings up on the hill, i thought it looked nice with the hill in the background, and the colors seemed to work nicely.

3. This is my ghost shot. I took it inside the hotel, i left my hand there for a few seconds and then removed it to make the illusion that my hand is ghost-like.

4. I zoomed in all the way for this shot to create the illusion of a shallow depth of field. It seemed to work nice and i tried to compose it in a nice way.

5. For my motion shot i chose to do the merry-go round. I think it was the only thing there that i saw moving. I purposely made it blur only a little bit, so that you could still tell what it is.

6. Close up of a log by the jail.

7. Jason posed nicely for this one, i took several angles and this one seemed to turn out the best.

I like how on the shot from the hotel you got it from the top looking down - interesting perspective. On your ghost shot I liked how only parts of your hand were see through and other parts were solid. On your motion shot I liked how you good tell it was moving by the shadow underneath the merry-go-round, that was cool. And your shallow depth of the log was amazing with the amount of detail that you were able to capture, same with your tin roof.

Cool ghost shot. I love the color and the texture in your second picture. And your motion shot is very well done. The log turned out great! That is incredible how sharp of an image it is, very well done. I wish your portrait didn't look quite so bright/washed out, you could try levels to maybe pull in some of the background colors. Nice job!

You have such good angles in all these pics. The first one has good window lines and I like the angle and where the building is. I love the color and angle of the second shot. It has really good lines too. It really looks like a ghost town picture because all the paint is worn off. Good ghost shot. I like your shallow depth of field. It is cool because of the angle and the background is a good blur. I love the merry go round. It is kind of moving but you can still see it and I like that. Good angle too. i love all the lines and color in the log. Those type of pictures are awesome to me! Good shot of Jason. Good job!

I like the pictures you posted Brent, it's crazy how we went around together for a good part of the day and came away with totally different shots. I like the variety you have in your pictures and the different angles you used.

Your HDR shot turned out really great. It really brought out the plants in the picture which rich colors. I really like the picture with the sidewalk looking down at the buildings. You choose a really good angle to take this photo at. Overall you did a great job and your pictures are rich in color.
