Ants - This picture was taken during my mission in Argentina, it was a close shot and my camera doesn't have a macro setting, so i had to sort of fool with it to get a shot with some depth of field.


Bull - This was a fun little bull, he acted like a dog, so we could take some pictures, i chose to go in really close and grab a irregular angle to make the shot a little more interesting.



Leaves - The leaves are turning all sorts of cool colors right now, I measured the focus on the far leaf, so that the ones closer would blur out a little.



Pond - The ponds in the gardens always provide some fun pictures, the focus was set on the floating rock on the right side.

I really like your red leaves image-well naturally I love images that are frame within a frame but with the added color it is just awesome! You also got a neat angle with the bull way to get creative!

I have to say that I miss Argentina. I served there as well. I love the bull photo. for some reason he looks a little mad in it and I think that is because of the angle of the photo. and good job with the ants for not having a a macro setting. I only had a film camera. My how technology in my life has changed... anyway...
I really like the leaf photo. It being wet give a great touch to it. The lighting is great and it makes me think of photos of fall from the east coast with vivid colors and dampness.
Your Pond photo is nice because of the perspective with having the flower being out of focus but I think the rest is a little blurred as well.
Good job on all of them.

I really liked the variety of shots that you took. The cow nose was great and the lily pad one has a great depth of field.

The coloring in the leaf picture is gorgeous and the shot you took without a macro setting is pretty good for what you had to work with. Good job.

I like the angle you were able to get on the bull, it is an interesting picture and looks like you had some fun with it too. I really like the picture of the leaf too, it is a crisp shot and turned out well for not having a macro setting on the shot.
